Hogseth will speak on the Wisconsin Farmers Union initiatives in 2020-21, and their work Deep Canvassing in rural Wisconsin

Bill is a sixth generation native of west-central Wisconsin. With a commitment to the “Wisconsin Idea” and a desire to rebuild the state’s progressive tradition. An experienced organizer working in partisan and nonpartisan spaces with a focus on grassroots leadership development that can sustain long-term action. I believe in the capacity of ordinary people to engage in meaningful collective action, rooted in relationship to one another and grounded in shared values, to strategically build the power we need to make the change we want.

As Organizing Director of WI Farmers Union he will build relationships based on shared interests and values to develop grassroots leaders who will build power in support of WFU’s mission and policy priorities to achieve the change members want in Wisconsin’s rural communities. Coordinate a team of field organizers and volunteers to develop a network of skilled deep canvassers throughout rural Wisconsin to engage in meaningful conversations about the challenges facing rural communities.
