Rep. Greta Neubauer became the Assembly Democratic Leader in January 2022, taking over a caucus that has just 38 of the Assembly’s 99 seats. Rep. Neubauer was born and raised in Racine in a politically active family, and is a dedicated advocate for progressive causes, including family-supporting jobs, community-oriented justice initiatives, affordable health care, strong public schools, and addressing climate change. Prior to her first election to state assembly in 2018, Neubauer served as legislative aide to former District 66 Representative (now Racine Mayor) Cory Mason.
