Announcing JeffDems Rally for Change, a virtual concert event raising money for progressive candidates across southeastern Wisconsin, on June 23rd at 7pm. Join musicians Peter Mulvey, Jeffrey Foucault, Hayward Williams, and messages from Andy Jorgenson, Tom Palzewicz, and a few surprise guests, as they help us kick off the 2020 election season the right way.
A pre-concert gathering will happen at 6:30 pm with special guest WI State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski. Our Board Chair Steve Bower will be there to introduce Sarah as she shares some insights about the impact of these down ballot races and answers a few member questions. Cafe Carpe owner and local activist Bill Camplin will sing a few tunes as a prelude to the night.
Finally, Pete Souza, President Obama’s photographer and recent Madison transplant, has generously donated a signed print from his archives for the event. We’ll kick off a 24 Facebook Silent Auction at 7pm – it will run until June 24, 2020 7pm.
