WE NEED YOUR HELP!
One week from today voters from all over Wisconsin will head to the polls. In fact, citizens are able to vote THIS WEEK in person for early voting. We need your help to ensure that EVERY DEMOCRAT votes this spring election. Too much is on the line for our WI Supreme Court race and local positions on our county board, city councils and school boards. There are a few ways you can help. In just one hour, from your home in your pajamas, you can help GET WISCONSINITES TO THE POLLS. Here’s how:
- TALK TO DEMOCRATS WHO VOTE INFREQUENTLY – CANVASS in Fort Atkinson or Lake Mills this Thursday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday – we are taking off Good Friday & Easter Sunday (this is the only option you can’t be in your pajamas). We’ll train you, send you out in pairs, and again give you a list of friendly doors to folks who usually only vote in Presidential elections and just need a little nudge to vote this spring.

- CALL or TEXT STRONG DEMOCRATS IN RURAL JEFFERSON COUNTY from your home or with others at our canvasses in Fort Atkinson at the Cafe Carpe. We have lists of Strong Democrats in 20 Jefferson County rural towns and villages that we don’t ever canvass – like Oakland, Sullivan, and Concord. We need your help to call or text them to remind them about voting but also to ask them to activate their personal and community networks to Get Out The Vote. We have directions and a script ready for you. You can also come to the Fort Atkinson canvass times if you’d like to call/text with others. If you’re interested, please contact Cynthia Holt, or SIGN UP HERE, and we’ll set you up with a list.
- TEXT 3 FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS. Can you contact three WI friends or family to remind them to vote? Let them know they can vote early in person and should drop off any absentee ballots in person. See if they’ll then “pass it on” by asking their three contacts to contact three of their friends. It will take less than 10 minutes and could mean the tipping of an election.
- ASK YOUR KIDS OR GRANDKIDS TO VOTE & GET THEIR FRIENDS TO THE POLLS. Often, younger or newer voters aren’t as aware of Spring Elections. Who do you know who is under 25 and eligible to vote? Call, email or text them and encourage them to vote for Chris Taylor and find out who their local progressive candidates are. Then ask them to bring their other young friends to the polls!
